Who Are We?
Dignified Residential Services provides home and Community based services to individuals with Intellectual Developmental disabilities (IDD), Our goal is the help these individuals navigate through life despite dealing with conditions that others might see as challenging. We work with these individuals on a day to day bases and work to teach them a variety of skills, like Structure, Manners, money management, and more!
Dignified Residential And Community Services was founded in 2020. The founder started Dignified Residential after growing up in a group home himself with 3 other kids who were residents with IDD and his dad who took on a job as the live-in staff, after 8 years of living, going to school, and being raised with each other, they became family. So after high school he decided he wanted every individually with mental health challenges to receive the big sister/ brother love he was able to have with his brothers, and help this individual reach day to day goal.
" Where I plan on taking this program is beyond imaginable, but not for me for the residents! this is a program that focuses on keeping them active, a place where they can not only advance in their life skill, but be active in the community, and participate in outside activities like special Olympics, but most importantly give them a piece of the experience I had with my brothers."
